Heidi Tunnell Catering Company was started by Heidi Tunnell in 2005 with a desire to work with clients to create individualized meal experiences. Since the beginning she has created many memorable meals for her clients from the very simple to the elaborate. HTCC is a different experience than most people are used to. Heidi will create a menu for your tastes and help design the entire evening from the flowers to the table settings and make it a very stress free and simple evening for you and your guests. So just sit back, relax, and know that you are in good hands with HTCC.
This isn’t just a meal. This is a celebration of local food, the people who grow it and those who craft it into something wonderful. We believe that the best meals are prepared using the freshest products available kept simple. Food that is fresh, local and straight from the farm needn’t be tampered with too much, we like to let the food speak for itself. For that reason our food is picked just before being prepared and served to you, our guest.
ABOUT HEIDI
Raised in Eugene, she attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY where upon graduating with honors she went on to complete a graduate teaching fellowship. During her studied at the C.I.A. she trained with well known Napa Valley caterer Elaine Bell. While in Sonoma she catered elaborate vineyard weddings, private dinners and gala events.
From the Hudson Valley, the Midwest, and right here in Oregon Heidi has held a variety of positions giving her the experience and training to create the occasion of your dreams. Heidi specializes in working closely with small farmers, and high end locally grown organic fare.
Heidi was also the managing chef for the American Pavilion at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. At the festival Heidi catered large events and intimate cocktail parties for the rich and famous of the Cote d Azur.
In Oregon you can ofter find her as guest chef at the Carlton Winemakers Studio, working with esteemed wineries such as Dominio IV, Bryce Vineyards, Boedecker Cellars, Wahle Vineyards, J.Daan, and Hamacher Wines.
