2013 BARN DINNERS

Our Barn Dinners are a series of summer dinners held on our farm with local winemakers. These special dinners only happen in the summer on the dates listed below.Wine glasses clinking, forks tapping plates, conversation buzzing, laughter… Those sounds are foodies, farmers and winemakers all dining together in the 19th century restored barn on Furrer Farms. The food for this meal was just pulled from the ground from a farm right down the road. And the wine in those glasses was handcrafted by one of the many talented winemakers right here in Oregon.Tickets for our Barn Dinners sold through our website, in person at our kitchen or by calling 541-895-5885. April 2013: Heidi has just found out that she is expecting her second child this fall! With that came a recommendation from her doctor to slow down because with her first child she ended up in the hospital for a long stay after giving birth. So we have just had to make the decision to cancel July and August dinners for 2013. Instead of canceling the June and September dinners those will just have some changes made to them. The changes to those two dinners will include a more relaxed atmosphere with live music, open seating inside the barn and out in the field and a ‘purchase as you go’ system for wine (and we’ll be adding in beer options as well). We will still be including the winemakers in our evening and the food will still be the same awesome food coming from ours and neighboring farms, it will just all be presented in a more casual service format. With this change you will notice the change reflected in the price of the tickets. We hope that you will still be able to join us this summer for a dinner!
