Eugene Symphony Fundraiser Dinner – May 18th

The Eugene Symphony Guild is holding a fundraising dinner here at HTCC on May 18th and we are taking reservations. There are limited seats, so if you would like to attend please make a reservation below. Dinner will start at 6pm. Here’s the menu for the evening:

Appetizer: House Made Ricotta Crostini with Truffle Oil and Oregon Truffle Salt

Dinner:

Salad with spring farm vegetables, red wine & herb vinaigrette

Chicken al Mattone: Heidi’s Iron Chef winning dish!
with Roasted Potatoes and Spring Farm Vegetables

Dessert:

Option of: Vanilla Bean Pots de Creme, Caramel-Chocolate cake or
Berry Crisp

This is all served up family style, like our Thursday Night Dinners. At 6pm winemaker, Jonathan Oberlander , from J.Scott Cellars will be there doing a complementary wine tasting at 6pm (bottles will be available for purchase if you wish for wine with your dinner). Also during this time there will be music by Neil and Cathy Patton on piano and flute!

No Easter Breakfast

So, we had to make a decision at the beginning of this week to cancel the Easter breakfast when we had zero reservations. We apologize for any inconveniences that this may cause. People have been asking in the past few days about breakfast this Sunday, but we have already called off all of our staff, so we just are not equipped to do it at this point. We’ll put it on the calendar for 2013 and hopefully we’ll have a bit more interest next year.

We are, however, still planning on having a Mother’s Day Breakfast again this year. Reservations are now open for that on our Make A Reservation page – under the Thursday Dinner heading (sorry for the inconvenient location on the website, I just couldn’t find a better spot for it). Again though, we will have a decision cut off day and if we have no reservations we will have to cancel that one as well. So, if you would like to come, make sure to get a reservation in. We hope to see you on Mother’s Day!

We hope to see you in at a Thursday dinner or a Tuesday lunch soon.

Chef’s Night Out

Next week, April 10th, is Chef’s Night Out. We have had a few people asking if we will still be open and the answer is YES. We will have REGULAR hours next week and will still be serving lunch.

Other upcoming events:

February 14th – Looking to cook for that special someone? We’ll have menus out for our special bakery items available. Aswell, we will have a “Valentine’s Dinner in a Box”, this will include dinner for two with an appetizer, three courses and a bottle of wine! Dinner will come complete with instructions for serving and heating. Shhh…we won’t tell, you can take all of the credit.

March 17th – St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza! We’re saving our popular House Made Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner for St. Patrick’s Day! Watch for details as the date nears.

April 8th - Easter Breakfast. Reservations will be necessary. We will be seating at one hour increments from 10am-1pm. Reservations will open up next month.

It’s that time of year again… Want to make this year a little less stressful? Order your Thanksgiving dinner from HTCC.

Here’s how it works: Fill out one of our order forms, pay for your order, pick up the day before Thanksgiving, and re-heat according to the instructions on each item. It’s that easy!

Thursday Night Dinners – EVERY WEEK!

Oh golly, oh gosh, really? Yes it’s true, we have officially decided to have a Thursday Night Dinner EVERY WEEK! No more guessing on whether it’s the right week for a dinner. Nope. Starting November 3rd (and excluding some holiday weeks) we will have a dinner EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT!

We will still be recommending reservations, just like always, but walk-ins are welcome as well. Reservations can easily be made on our website by clicking under the Make a Reservation tab up top. Check back later in the week and we’ll have more menus up, but for now each date until the end of the year is now open for reservations!

Oktoberfest!
